Oasis - Wonderwall

Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now

Backbeat the word was on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels
The way I do about you now

And all the roads we have to walk along are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would
Like to say to you
I don't know how

Because maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after all
You're my wonderwall

Today was gonna be the day?
But they'll never throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you're not to do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do
About you now

And all the roads that lead to you were winding
And all the lights that light the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
I don't know how

I said maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after all
You're my wonderwall

I said maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after an
You're my wonderwall

Said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me

U2 - With or Without You

U2 are a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar) and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums and percussion).

The band formed in Dublin on September 25, 1976. Larry Mullen, Jr., 14, posted a notice in his high school bulletin board (the Temple Mount of School) seeking musicians for a new band. Seven teenagers attended the first practice in the kitchen of Mullen. It is, as Mullen, "" The Larry Mullen Band "for about ten minutes, then walked Bono and flew at every opportunity I had to be in the position." The group released Mullen on drums, Paul Hewson (Bono) on lead singer, Dave Evans (The Edge) and his brother Dik Evans on guitar, Adam Clayton, a friend of the brothers Evans on bass, and initially Ivan McCormick and Peter Martin, two other friends of Mullen. Soon after, the group settled on the name of "Feedback", because it is one of the few technical terms they knew. Martin did not return after the first practice, and McCormick left the group in a couple of weeks. Most of the group's material initially consisted of cover versions, which said the band was not his strength. The original material of the band did write demonstrated a sound influenced by their post-punk peers.

In March 1977, the band changed its name to "The Hype". Dik Evans, who was older and by this time in college, is becoming the odd man. During a farewell concert in the Presbyterian Church in the Hall of Howth, which included The game includes Hype, Dik ceremoniously walked offstage. The remaining four members of the band ended the concert playing original material as "U2." Steve Averill, a punk rock musician and friend of the family of Clayton, had proposed six possible names from which the band chose "U2" for its ambiguity and open-ended interpretations, and that was the name that disliked the least.

On Saint Patrick's Day in 1978, U2 won a talent show in Limerick, Ireland. The award consisted of 500 pounds and funding to record a demo, which was an important milestone and affirmation of the fledgling band. The band recorded its first demo in Keystone Studios, in Harcourt Street, Dublin in April 1978. In May, Paul McGuinness, who had been introduced to the band Hot Press journalist Bill Graham, according to the manager of U2. In February 1980, their second single "Another Day" was launched on CBS, but again only for the Irish.

Blur - Country House

And so the the story begins

City dweller, successful fella
Thought to himself oops I've got a lot of money
I'm caught in a rat race terminally
I'm a professional cynic but my heart's not in it
I'm paying the price of living life at the limit
Caught up in the centuries anxiety
It preys on him, he's getting thin

He lives in a house, a very big house in the country
Watching afternoon repeats and the food he eats in the country
He takes all manner of pills and piles up analyst bills in the country
It's like an animal farm lot's of rural charm in the country

He's got morning glory, life's a different story
Everything going jackanory, in touch with his own mortality
He's reading balzac, knocking back prozac
It's a helping hand that makes you feel wonderfully bland
Oh it's the centuries remedy
For the faint at heart, a new start

He lives in a house, a very big house in the country
He's got a fog in his chest so he needs a lot of rest in the country
He doesn't drink smoke laugh, takes herbal baths in the country
Says she's come to no harm on an animal farm in the country

In the country, in the country

Blow, blow me out I am so sad, I don't know why
Blow, blow me out I am so sad, I don't know why

He lives in a house, a very big house in the country
Watching afternoon repeats and the food he eats in the country
He takes all manner of pills and piles up analyst bills in the country
Oh, it's like an animal farm lot's of rural charm in the country

He lives in a house, a very big house in the country
He's got a fog in his chest so he needs a lot of rest in the country
He doesn't drink smoke laugh, takes herbal baths in the country
And she's come to no harm on an animal farm in the country

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sweep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt, pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you know there was never, never an honest word
That was when I ruled the world
(Ohhh)

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries Wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can not explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
(Ohhhhh Ohhh Ohhh)

Hear Jerusalem bells are ringings
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can not explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
(Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh)

Radiohead - Just

"Just" is a single by the English rock band Radiohead, released in 1995. It is the seventh track from his 1995 album curves. FRONTMAN Radiohead Thom Yorke wrote the song about a narcissistic friend, who was on an inspection by The images in the lyrics - a parallel to the earlier My Iron Lung EP track "Lewis [mistreated]." He also says he was something of a competition between him and Jonny Greenwood to see who could fit most of the chords in a song . "Just" It is especially notable for Greenwood's guitar solo. In the UK, this is only available on two CDs: the first offered different ways, and the color of the album was only the second reversed. In 2007, NME put "fair" at number 34 in its list of the Top 50 Indie anthems Ever.

Music video

The single video was directed by Jamie Thraves, who was hand-picked by the band after he saw several of his experimental shorts. It was filmed near Liverpool Street station in London, and interspersed scenes of Radiohead playing the song in an apartment with scenes of a middle-aged man who lives in the middle of the sidewalk. People begin to gather, thinking that something must be wrong with the man, and the band are shown looking out the window to the events below. A heated (subtitled) conversation between man and the crowd is developed, as people begin to demand to know what man is doing and why he is lying there. In the subtitles, the man finally capitulates and says: "Yes I am going to say, I will tell you why I am lying here ... but God forgive me ... and God help us all ... because you do not know what I ask. "The camera zoom into his mouth as the man finally gives the answer, but the subtitles have suddenly stopped, so why is not revealed to the viewer. As the camera zooms back, which shows the pavement covered with the multitude of people, all lying like men. Radiohead members have yet to reveal what specific words the man had intended to have said, if any, and Thraves said "to tell you that cushion the impact, and would probably make you want to lie on the road too." The video is available in 7 Radiohead commercial television and DVD, EMI released Radiohead: The Best of DVD.

Can't get the stink off
He's been hanging round for days
Comes like a comet
Suckered you but not your friends
One day he'll get to you
And teach you how to be a holy cow

You do it to yourself, you do
And that's what really hurts
Is that you do it to yourself
Just you and no one else
You do it to yourself
You do it to yourself

Don't get my sympathy
Hanging out the 15th floor
You've changed the locks three times
He still comes reeling through the door
One day I'll get you
And teach you how to get to purest hell

You do it to yourself, you do
And that's what really hurts
Is that you do it to yourself
Just you, you and no one else
You do it to yourself
You do it to yourself

You do it to yourself, you do
And that's what really hurts
Is that you do it to yourself
Just you, you and no one else
You do it to yourself
You do it to yourself.. yourself.. yourself..

Cornershop - Brimful of Asha

There’s dancing
Behind movie scenes
Behind the movie scenes
Sadi Rani
She’s the one that keeps the dream alive
From the morning
Past the evening
To the end of the light

Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45

And dancing
Behind movie scenes
Behind those movie screens
Asha Bhosle
She’s the one that keeps the dream alive
From the morning
Past the evening
To the end of the light

Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45

Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow
Everybody needs a bosom (2x)
Mine’s on the 45

And singing
Illuminate the main streets
And the cinema aisles
We don’t care about no government warnings
‘bout their notion of a simple life
And the dams they are building
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45

Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow
Everybody needs a bosom (5x)
Mine’s on the 45

Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it’s a brimful of Asha on the 45
Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow
Everybody needs a bosom (4x)

And singing and dancing (8x)
Mine’s on the RPM

Catatonia - Mulder & Scully

I'd rather be liberated, I find myself captivated
Stop doing what you . . . Keep doing it too . . .
I'd rather stay bold and lonely, I dream I'm your one and only
Stop doing what you . . . Keep doing it too . . .
Things are getting strange, I'm starting to worry
This could be a case for Mulder and Scully
Things are getting strange, now I can't sleep alone
I'd rather be jumping ship, I find myself jumping straight in
Stop doing what you . . . Keep doing it too . . .
Forever be dozy and dim, I wake myself thinking of him
Stop doing what you . . . Keep doing it too . . .
My bed is made for two and there's nothing I can do
So tell me something I don't know
If my head is full of you is there nothing I can do?
Must we all march in two by two by two?
Things are getting strange, I'm starting to worry
This could be a case for Mulder and Scully
Things are getting strange, now I can't sleep alone
And as for some happy ending, I'd rather stay single and thin
Stop doing what you . . . Keep doing to me
Things are getting strange, I'm starting to worry
This could be a case for Mulder and Scully
Things are getting strange, now I can't sleep alone here
Things are getting strange, I'm starting to worry
This could be a case for Mulder and Scully
Things are getting strange, now I can't sleep alone
So what have you got to say about that?
And what does someone do without love?
And what does someone do with love?
And what have you got to say about that?

Catatonia were a band from Wales who gained a national following in the UK in the mid-late 1990s. The band consisted of Cerys Matthews voice, Mark Roberts on guitar, Paul Jones on bass (both now members of Ffyrc Y, and former members of the Snow and Cyrff And Antlers), Owen Powell (who is a judge on "Wawffactor '- similar to a Welsh X-factor) on guitar, and Aled Richards (now the drums of Amy Wadge) on drums. Matthews and Roberts were the main composers.

Initially the line up fluctuated, at various times including Clancy Pegg (after Tystion) on keyboards and Dafydd Ieuan and Kris Jenkins (of Super Furry Animals) on drums and percussion, before a solution to the "classic" line in 1995.

It is rumored that Matthews and Roberts first met when he was busking in Cardiff. Those affected are off and began writing songs together in 1992. For four years after it was also present in a relationship, many aspects of this being played publicly in his lyrics.

The couple arrived by word catatonia, believing it means an extreme sense of pleasure and sleep, and the band was originally called 'Sweet Catatonia. " The discovery of the true meaning of the word (ie, a symptom of certain psychiatric disorders), which dropped the prefix 'sweet'.

The Cure are an English rock band that formed in Crawley, West Sussex in 1976. The band has undergone several changes of alignment, with the leader, guitarist and main composer Robert Smith is the only constant member.

Members of the priest began the liberation of music in the 1970s. His first album, three imaginary children (1979), and early singles placed as part of the post-punk and new wave movements that had emerged in the wake of the punk rock revolution in the UK. STRETCHING OUT ON A SUMMER'S DAY
HOUSTON, IT'S CALLING ME BACK TO HER

Lady take a ride on a Zeke 64, Jerry wants to be a rockette
That's a popular misconception, says we haven't seen anything yet
Laying down the lifeless corpse of President 35
The lady crying by his side is the most beautiful woman alive

When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You're so fucking special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice when I'm not around
You're so fucking special
I wish I was special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell I'm doing here?
I don't belong here

She's running out again
She's running out
She runs runs runs

Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You're so fucking special
I wish I was special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here
I don't belong here

Space - Me and you vs the world

I first met you hanging knickers on The line
Fom that moment on I knew that
There could only be one outcome
Me and you against the world forever
You have no folks, And I'm just a joke
But we made a vow that we would
Never sell each other out
A lie detector wouldn't make me Doubt you

Now we know that it's us versus the World now
Me and you against the world now
Look up there in the sky now
See the stars well they're shining
Just for us
Hey now, me and you against the World now
Look up there in the sky now
See the stars well they're shining Just for us

We hitched a ride that would turn Out suicide
I had my '45 replica gun
I didn't think we'd ever need it
Didn't know he had a real one loaded
You went in first
Took the worst
Couldn't hear me shouting you to stop
Above the busy traffic passing by
We promised that together we
Would die

Now we know that it's us versus the World now
Me and you against the world now
Look up there in the sky now
See the stars well they're shining
Just for us
Hey now, me and you against the World now
Look up there in the sky now
See the stars well they're shining
Just for us

I went in next took a bullet in The chest
So I hit him with the only thing that
Was anywhere near me A tin of baked beans and a Woman's weekly
I got the cash picked you up and made
A dash we didn't make it too far we
Made it to the parking lot 40 cops in
Front of us...
Guess who got shot
Lying there dying in each other's arms
Oh you said to me
Don't worry about a thing my little
Sweetheart
We're together we shall never Be apart
You took a chance on a loser like me
But you never let me down
And whether we're in heaven or hell
I know it's better than separate cells.

Now we know that it's us versus the World now
Me and you against the world now
Look up there in the sky now
See the stars well they're shining
Just for us
Hey now, me and you against the
World now
Look up there in the sky now
See the stars well they're shining
Just for us

May 1993 - Tommy Scott and Andy Parle have been floating around his home city of Liverpool for too long. In a city where the shadow of The Beatles still hangs over every aspiring musician Liverpudlian, finding the staff to translate sound into the head of Scott has proven to be a futile and frustrating task. 17 years for guitarist Jamie Murphy was always around. A precocious musical talent and the hyperactivity of the hive, which always seems to us too young to participate. With a proverb in mind ( "If you're big enough, which is quite old"), the first time that Scott saw him in a local nightclub, decided to give it a go. Murphy was presented to its first test in the school uniform.

Kraftwerk fan Franny Griffiths was in a nightclub one night in his native Liverpool, worrying about their own business when someone delivers a package of cigarettes to empty it. Scrawl on the back of the package was an offer to keyboardist / sampling wizard to join the peculiar group of space rock. He rejected it immediately as soon as he read that have signed the singer-bassist Tommy Scott and drummer Andy Parle. Griffiths knew better ...

"I know Tommy and Andy from way back when," Griffiths said in an interview, "and not like the others when we were kids. Therefore, I have this note that says, 'Please come and join us, help us to make a demonstration. "I thought someone was joking because Tommy and Andy were never friends, and here their names written on the back of a pack of cigarettes." Prudente, but curious, Griffiths agreed to meet Scott, and guitarist Jamie Parle Murphy the next day. Lo and behold, the group of songs showed promise and little strange Parle and Scott were working together side by side. Franny is!

The original line-was complete. Space was born ...
