The Cure - Friday im in love

I don't care if monday's blue
tuesday's grey and wednesday too
thursday I don't care about you
it's friday I'm in love

monday you can fall apart
tuesday wednesday break my heart
thursday doesn't even start
it's friday I'm in love

saturday wait
and sunday always comes too late
but friday never hesitate...

I don't care if monday's black
tuesday wednesday heart attack
thursday never looking back
it's friday I'm in love

monday you can hold your head
tuesday wednesday stay in bed
orthursday watch the walls instead
it's friday I'm in love

saturday wait
and sunday always comes too late
but friday never hesitate...

dressed up to the eyes
it's a wonderful surprise
to see your shoes and your spirits rise
throwing out your frown
and just smiling at the sound
and as sleek as a shriek
spinning round and round
always take a big bite
it's such a gorgeous sight
to see you in the middle of the night
you can never get enough
enough of this stuff
it's friday
I'm in love

The Cure are an English rock band that formed in Crawley, West Sussex in 1976. The band has undergone several changes of alignment, with the leader, guitarist and main composer Robert Smith is the only constant member.

Members of the priest began the liberation of music in the 1970s. His first album, three imaginary children (1979), and early singles placed as part of the post-punk and new wave movements that had emerged in the wake of the punk rock revolution in the UK. During the 1980s the band increasingly dark and tormented music helped form the gothic rock genre. After the release of pornography (1982), the band's future was uncertain and leader Robert Smith was keen to advance beyond the sad reputation of his band had cultivated. With the 1982 single "Let's go to bed," Smith began to inject more of a pop sensibility in the band.

The popularity of the Cure as the increase in use in ten years, especially in the United States, where the songs "Like Heaven," "Lovesong" and "Friday I'm in love" entered the Billboard Top 40 charts . At the beginning of the 1990s, the priest was one of the most popular alternative rock bands in the world and have sold an estimated 27 million albums since 2004. The Cure have released thirteen studio albums and over thirty singles throughout his career.
